Johnny Mafia, the incandescent French rock band, are back with an explosive new album titled “2024 : Année du Dragon”. Founded by four high-schoolers in Sens, Johnny Mafia quickly built an unshakeable reputation as a live beast. With more than 450 shows under their belt, they’ve won over audiences across France and beyond.
After three landmark albums, Johnny Mafia have become the spearhead of a constantly evolving French music scene. Their second record, “Princes de l’amour”, recorded by Jim Diamond, was widely praised by the specialist press. But it was with “Sentimental”, their third album, recorded at Warmaudio studio under the guidance of talented producer Kris Banel, that the band reasserted their singularity.
“2024 : Année du Dragon”, Johnny Mafia’s fourth record, was recorded and produced by Francis Caste. This new album promises to break even more barriers, propelling the band towards new musical horizons.
With their contagious energy and catchy melodies, Johnny Mafia continue to push the limits of French rock. The label NMAS was lucky enough to team up with them for this adventure, with distribution handled by Baco Distribution & Howlin’ Banana, which bodes well for a memorable release on 9 February.
