Double Vitrage

Double Vitrage started in 2021, when Rémi Tallon and Raphaël Muzeau met and wanted to build a special instrument: a synthesiser whose keyboard is a drum kit.

Thanks to an interactive setup, the music and the light show are created in real time, hit after hit. The result is an unusual relationship between the two musicians and their machines, for a live set that’s dirty and unstable, somewhere between techno, industrial, live and improvised electronic music.

The synthesiser plays through the drum hits. Raph, meanwhile, intervenes live by modulating the machine’s parameters by hand. He can change the timbres, the textures, the effects, the length of the notes… everything. So the two humans cooperate on two instruments that are really one.
