Treaks refuse to bow down and want to assert themselves against all odds. They shake their audience with irony, make them grind their teeth and invite them to let go. A head-on bass/drums, biting lyrics, a slightly cracked lead…

Enough to let yourself be carried by the Nantes trio’s redemptive anger.

After Neuroses, a first EP released in 2020, the band come back on the attack with Against the Wall. A single that makes you want to bang your head against a wall to the rhythm of chiselled bells, hypnotic bass/guitar and the lead’s haunting voice.

Treaks are preparing an album for autumn 2024. Consent, questions of gender, family injunctions, self-affirmation… The themes tackled, though sometimes dark, leave room for light. The trio choose to handle them through the prism of irony or a liberating rage.
