At the start there was nothing. We didn’t know each other; we met to start the band. No name, no songs. We shut ourselves in studios and wrote our first tracks there, together. It’s a process we’ve never let go of since. We played shows as fast as we could, because playing shows is what we love. There was nobody, then gradually there was slightly less nobody. We’re still intrigued to see our name grow on line-ups. To hear people sing lyrics that even we sometimes forget. Making the music we like, with the people we love, and getting to share that with people who understand it: it’s a strange feeling. It’s intoxicating. We live for those moments.
Then silence. Stopping the shows for long months to prepare what comes next.
Finally, the arrival of this album, the return of the shows. Starting to give everything again. Until we lose our breath. Our balance. Our reason. Shout. Dance. Laugh and cry. See people do the same. After months of silence, celebrate the return of the noise. Thanks for the Noise.
