Pigalle is the alternative rock band founded in the 1980s by François Hadji-Lazaro, a forerunner of neo-realist French song played on unexpected instruments: hurdy-gurdy, mandolin, banjo, bagpipes. Known for 'Dans la salle du bar-tabac de la rue des Martyrs', the band reunited for a tour in 2008.
