Bombes 2 Bal

Bombes 2 Bal is a Toulouse dance band formed in 2001: six singing musicians and two dance leaders get every generation dancing to an Occitan repertoire mixed with Brazilian forró, largely written by Claude Sicre.

Close to the Fabulous Trobadors, the band released Danse avec ta grand-mère (2004) and Bal indigène (2007), children’s book-and-CD sets with Actes Sud, and has been the subject of two documentaries.

It opened the big top on Friday 13 June 2008.
