Hilight Tribe

A pioneer of « natural trance », Hilight Tribe has been playing fully instrumental, entirely live techno since 1995, with no machines, between tribal music and electro: guitar, bass, drums, didgeridoo and percussion from around the world. The band counts more than 750 concerts and eight albums.

Born out of the Goa psytrance scene, it played the Boom and Ozora festivals early on and released Maha Wave (1999), Stellar Rain (2000) and Love Medicine and Natural Trance (2002), which opens with Free Tibet. Vini Vici’s remix of that track has passed 79 million Spotify streams, and the band worked with Armin van Buuren on Great Spirit.

It came to Les Mouillotins in 2008 and again in 2018.
