Jim Murple Memorial

Jim Murple Memorial is a French band bringing back 1950s and 60s Jamaican rhythm’n’blues: ska, rocksteady, boogie, calypso and soul. Founded in Montreuil in 1996 by guitarist Romain Dallaine and singer Nanou, it gathers six to nine musicians for shows built for dancing.

From Rythm’n’Blues Jamaïcain (1998) to 14 Solutions (2023), the band has released around ten albums and played the Vieilles Charrues, Dour and Solidays.

It played Les Mouillotins in 2008, at the 7th edition.
