Bass Tong

Bass Tong is a Nantes musician and former art school student who builds his own instruments from salvaged objects such as PVC pipes. On the street or on stage, he gets a low-tech, danceable « acoustic techno » out of them. He also runs instrument-making workshops for children and adults.

He played the Handiclap festival under the Nefs of Les Machines de l’Île in Nantes in May 2025. He came to Les Mouillotins in 2022, for the 20th edition.
