Missed the programme of AMAC's community hub (Espace de Vie Sociale) for the start of the year? Here's a quick catch-up: from decoration workshops for the Les Mouillotins festival to the volunteers' day, via the clothes swap and games afternoon in Cossé-le-Vivien, there's something for everyone.
What's on
- Concert night with D'Connek5ion and MagnetX: Friday 6 March at 8pm, at Le Paternais in Saint-Poix. Free entry, bar and burgers on site.
- Decoration workshops: 14 March, 11 April and 6 May from 9:30am, at AMAC's decoration workshop in Saint-Poix. Open to all, bring a packed lunch.
- DIY day (building a garden chair): Saturday 14 March from 9:30am, at the decoration workshop. Sign up before 1 March, EVS membership required (€10).
- Clothes swap and board games afternoon: Saturday 28 March, 2-6pm, salle Saint-Exupéry in Cossé-le-Vivien. Free and open to all, sellers signed up before 6 March.
- Computer classes: Tuesdays 2-4pm at the town hall in Astillé (even weeks) and Gastines (odd weeks), Thursdays of odd weeks 2-4pm in Méral (after-school room, rue du Tilleul). Sign up: €20 for 15 classes, plus EVS membership (€10).
- Volunteers' day: Saturday 18 April at the Brasserie de l'Oudon in Méral. Free lunch and a brewery tour, sign up with AMAC.
- Les Mouillos: Ego le Cachalot, a games workshop by Payaso Loco and a Boumboxers kids' party, Wednesday 22 April, 11am-4pm, salle de l’Orion in La Selle-Craonnaise. Booking required: €8 per child, €4 per adult, free for leisure-centre staff.
- Les Mouillotins 2020: Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June at the Saint-Poix sports ground, with a Saturday afternoon for families (face painting, screen printing, a roaming brass band).
Update: the March 2020 lockdown cancelled the rest of this programme, including Les Mouillos and the 2020 Les Mouillotins festival.
