Founded in Nantes in 1970 by three men named Jean ('Tri Yann an Naoned', the three Jeans of Nantes), Tri Yann is one of France's leading Celtic folk rock bands, known for its costumed shows and its takes on traditional Breton songs.
The band headlined the 3rd Mouillotins festival on 7 May 2000 in Cuillé, in front of about 3,000 people.
