DJ Boris Viande

A punk-rooted DJ and trumpeter, Boris Viande played trumpet in the ska-punk outfit Vladivostok before he started DJing around Nantes. He mixes Serbian brass, Russian and Ukrainian ska, Gypsy electro and gypsy punk live, playing trumpet over the top.

In late 2008 he founded the VLAD label, which he still runs, and released three “Balkan Boombastic” EPs on it, launched at La Dame de Canton in Paris. Since 2010 he has played around a hundred DJ sets a year. Now based in Rennes, he champions “romantic techno” with “#DispoPourVosMariages”, blending traditional music and strobe lights.
