Toma Sidibé

Born in Côte d'Ivoire and raised in Amiens, Toma Sidibé moved to Mali at 17 to learn djembe and Bambara from Séga Sidibé, whose name he took. His music blends reggae, French chanson and Mandinka rhythms (“Mali Mélo”, “Matin d'exil”, “Bal poussière”). At Les Mouillotins 2015 he played as a duo with balafon player Siaka Diarra.
