HK & Les Saltimbanks feat. M.A.P

Formed in 2009 around Kaddour Hadadi, aka HK, formerly of the Ministère des Affaires Populaires (M.A.P), HK & Les Saltimbanks draws on reggae, blues, hip-hop and chaabi. Their song On lâche rien, from Citoyen du monde (2011), became a protest anthem in France and in Quebec in 2012.

At Les Mouillotins 2014, the band invited Saïdou and violinist Hacène to reunite M.A.P, the Lille rap-and-accordion collective, for a few songs. It has since released Rallumeurs d’étoiles (2015), L’Empire de papier (2017) and Danser encore (2021).
