Formed in 2009 around Kaddour Hadadi, known as HK, a former member of the Ministère des Affaires Populaires (M.A.P), HK & Les Saltimbanks draws on reggae, blues, hip-hop and chaabi. At Les Mouillotins 2014 the band invited Saïdou and violinist Hacène to briefly reunite M.A.P, the Lille rap-and-accordion collective.
