Broussaï

ReggaeMâcon, France2013

An eight-piece band from Mâcon that has become a benchmark of French reggae, Broussaï has played more than 700 concerts in France and Europe. Steeped in Jamaican urban music, it is carried by the voices of Karma and Tchong Libo.

After Insurrection (2004), Avec des mots (2007) and Perspectives (2009), the band recorded Kingston Town in Jamaica, at Harry J studio. The album was voted best French reggae album in 2013, and Broussaï became the first French reggae band to appear on Jamaican national television. In the Street (2015), Une seule adresse (2019) and Solidaires (2023) followed.

It brought Kingston Town to Les Mouillotins in 2013.
