Batunga & The Subprimes

Afrobeat, funk and jazz brass bandParis, France2009

A Paris brass band bringing together musicians from established outfits (Le Gros Tube, Les Ouiches Lorènes, Les Lapins Superstars, the Ratamars) around a hypnotic mix of funk, afrobeat and jazz. At home on stage and in the street, it took on Slurp BB in the 2009 brass band battle.

After the EP Let Dem In, it released the album Man in the Field in 2017, with banjo, sousaphone and four horns.
